Curb Service is our most affordable Sign & Go option and Pal my awesome officiant partner will officiate for you while you wait. In under 10 minutes you are official and on your way to live ‘happily ever after’. All Sign & Go and Short & Sweet wedding services will take place safely outside by the beautiful big magnolia tree in Zelda’s front yard - weather permitting. If rain or snow, we’ll head for cover to the side porch. To ensure safety for all, face masks will be worn in the service inside by all in attendance with physical distancing in compliance with CDC health and safety recommendations. Anyone with Covid-19 symptoms or who tests positive please avoid all gatherings including weddings and recover safely at home.

Vow & Ring Exchange Ceremony

Choose either a Table Wedding or by our magnolia tree. This ceremony is short, sweet, and to-the-point, but still has plenty of time for you to romantically exchange vows and/or rings and say your “I do’s”. Zelda will take 20+ fab photos for you. Vow & Ring Exchange Ceremony - Next day and Beyond

Traditional Ceremony ~ vow and ring exchange. Love is wherever you are! Zelda will come to your location whether it’s inside or outside to help you tie the knot in traditional style exchanging your wedding vows and rings. These ceremonies can be just the couple on their own for a private elopement ceremony, a small, informal gathering, or a grand, formal ceremony with a large gathering. This is all about your wedding, your way, and Zelda is happy to help you personalize your service so it’s a perfect match for your style and preferences.

How Your Ceremony Works

To be included in our schedule all services require pre-payment in full.

Payments Apps are preferred:
Venmo: (@Zelda-Sheldon)
Cash App: ($ZeldaSheldon), or
Apple Pay: (615-720-7192).

Venmo, Cash App, and Apple Pay do not require a service fee which is why these are preferred. Paypal and credit card payments do require a service fee.

PLEASE NOTE: Venmo does offer a ‘Buyer Protection’ option. If you choose this option go ahead and add 2.1% to the total service fee - otherwise Venmo will deduct the buyer protection from my fee.

No payment Apps?
If you don't have Venmo, Cash App, or Apple Pay, here are two prepayment options:

Zelle: Account Name: Stuart W Sheldon Email: pal@artecsound.com.au Ph: 615-727-2285. When you have completed payment using Zelle go ahead and text me a screenshot of your completed payment. OR

PayPal: (accounts@artecsound.com.au) however as paypal charges vendors an admin fee go ahead add 3.49% + $0.49 to your total price to cover the service fee PayPal charges.

For Check or money order payments only the exact quoted service fee amount will be accepted, and we do not accept overpayments as a security precaution. Cash, check, and credit card payments are only available as a last resort and will require an additional 5% handling fee.

Zelda will confirm via text when your prepayment has been received and your wedding has been added to the schedule with the location address, date and time.

About Table Weddings: Table weddings are ideal for small groups of up to 5 people (including the officiant). Often, the service is just Zelda and the couple for an elopement wedding. If you want to share your table wedding with a group of more than 5, you can book a table at a restaurant - or even book a bowling lane at Pinewood Social at your expense, or book a Love At Your Location service at the location of your choice that can better accommodate the size or your party. Parks and outdoors are ideal for larger gatherings.

Your Wedding Day: Please arrive on or before your scheduled service time. Please have all your guests arrive at the scheduled time. If you’re having a table wedding please find a table and order your food or drinks as a courtesy to the venue for allowing you to perform your service there. Once you’ve ordered and found the perfect table, text Zelda to let her know your location in the venue. She’ll arrive at the scheduled service time to help you tie the knot!

Marriage License:  You need a current, valid Tennessee Marriage license that is within its 30-days of issuance from any TN County Clerk for Zelda to officiate. Please note: Make sure the license is issued in the state of Tennessee if it will be officiated in TN. It’s best to call your local county clerk to confirm their requirements and business hours of operation - typically Monday to Friday. There are several TN county Clerks that are open Saturday Morning within 90 minutes of downtown Nashville.

Once officiated, the county clerk requires the marriage documents to be returned within 3-business days to avoid being voided by the county clerk. County clerks recommend the couple’s deliver it back to the county clerk in person to avoid ‘lost in the mail’ disappointment. Or that the couple mails it back themselves. Zelda now offers ‘Concierge In Person Service’ to the County Clerk as an add on service. See prices below in ‘Our Policies’.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations 72 hours or more in advance of your ceremony time will be refunded for the full amount minus $150 for a full ceremony; $90 for Short & Sweet; and $60 for Love in a Rush. Cancellations less than 72 hours in advance of your service will not be refunded.

RETURNING THE OFFICIATED MARRIAGE LICENSE DOCUMENTS TO THE COUNTY CLERK POLICY

Due to recent US Postal Service issues and after consultation with several TN County Clerks our best practice policies have been updated for returning the officiated marriage license documents to the issuing County Clerk

Effective March 6, 2023 couples will now be totally responsible for returning their officiated marriage license documents to the county clerk that issued their marriage license. Couples can either do this in person, or mail it back to the issuing county clerk. The Davidson County Clerk of Nashville strongly recommends ‘in-person officiated document returns’ to avoid marriage documents being lost in the mail (which they report happens from time to time). Not only will in-person returns offer couples the absolute certainty and peace of mind that their documents arrived safely to the county clerk, it will also expedite the process, enabling couples to have their marriage documents recorded while they wait 10 minutes or so, instead of the typical 30-day turnaround.

TIP: TAKE A PHOTO OF YOUR OFFICIATED DOCUMENTS AS PROOF

If mailing back to the county clerk, it it recommended that couples take a clear photograph of the officiated marriage license and certificate as proof before mailing it back to the county clerk for filing. This will give you proof that you were married legally on the date of your service even if your marriage documents were lost in the mail. Please note however, Davidson County Clerk, among other county clerks, do require the original document for recording and filing, so you if you discover that your officiated marriage license documents have been lost in the mail you will need to go through the process again and purchase a new marriage license. Please call the county clerk that issued your marriage license and verify their policies for marriage documents that are lost in the mail.

Zelda Sheldon will be happy to sign the new replacement marriage documents again for you at her Inglewood home address free of cost. For other locations, there will be an officiating cost.

CONCIERGE IN-PERSON SERVICE

Alternatively, we also offer Concierge In-Person Marriage Document Return Service. This service includes us delivering the marriage document in person to the county clerk on your behalf within the required THREE business days, then waiting while clerk completes the recording and filing of your officiated marriage license. We will then mail the receipt and copy to the couple. Service Fees for this start at $89 for Davidson County.
